Why 2020 Chevrolet Blazer 3LT Trim Level is Worth to Choose?
Today's consumers expect their cars more than ever. That's why the popularity of midsize SUVs has exploded. They are large and capable enough to move passengers and cargo safely and gracefully. GM wanted to bring something new to market to bring new life to the segment in the ever-booming SUV segment. So they decided to reintroduce Chevrolet Blazer for sale on the market. This name was last seen on older Trucks like SUVs.
When shopping for a new 2020 Blazer, drivers will
have six different trim levels. So let's see what the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer 3LT has for
you.
Engine and Performance
The most evident engine is a 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder
engine that produces 230-horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The trim is
an optional 3.6L V6 engine that gives the driver 308-horsepower and 270 lb-ft
of torque. Either engine is still attached to a nine-speed automatic
transmission. Chevrolet has equipped it with the "ride and handling
suspension," which is optimized to keep the ride smooth. Each engine has a
fuel-saving engine stop/start function that can be disabled. Active grille
shutters (for aerodynamics and thermal efficiency) are also standard.
Interior
The 3LT trim is the first to upgrade the first front passenger seat to be equipped
with six-speed power control. It is the first model to be fitted with heated
front seats as standard. A manual tailgate is still standard, but a
programmable power option is also available.
The rear passengers have ample space, air vents for
air conditioning, and comfortable sliding / reclining seats. The Blazer's 30.5
cubic foot storage space behind the rear seats is roomy enough for most needs.
For large loads, the release levers conveniently located in the cargo area
create a flat cargo floor.
Exterior
There are several significant improvements to be
found for the 3LT. This trim level features 18-inch wheels with the iconic
Blazer grille, consisting of four black horizontal stripes with a chrome head
strip. The lighting characteristics are respectable. A sunroof is available on the 3LT while the
tailgate becomes standard equipment.
The standard equipment of the 3LT includes the side
rails mounted on the roof. Side mirrors keep warm and have integrated
indicators and an automatic dimming function. This model is equipped with
high-intensity discharge headlights, LED taillights, and LED daytime running
lights. The headlights also have an automatic on/off function, and the rearview
mirror has an automatic dimming function.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The Chevrolet Infotainment System is standard and
runs on an 8-inch screen. The system enables Bluetooth streaming and
intelligent integration of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The instrument panel
provides the driver with two USB ports, another traditional USB-A port, and a
USB-C port, while the drivers can listen to music through a six-speaker audio
system. It comes standard with active noise cancellation and a 4.2-inch driver
information center to enhance the 3LT experience.
With this trim, the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer also adds navigation, an SD card reader, a premium
eight-speaker Bose sound system, HD surround vision, a rear vision mirror, and
a 120-volt power outlet. Drivers also get a free trial subscription to SiriusXM
radio if you select this trim.
Safety Features
There are many advanced driver aids to be found in
the 3LT trim. Included are a tire pressure monitoring system, an HD rear vision
camera, and the Teen Driver feature. There is also a rear-seat reminder to make
sure drivers look in the back before leaving their Blazer.
3LT also has some additional safety aids. Drivers
will now receive lane departure alerts with side blind zone alerts, which was
an option on 2LT. The 3LT also comes standard with rear cross-traffic alerts
and rear parking sensors.
